Happy New Year!

My resolution?
To write more on this blog!

Coming this year?

I will have a pattern for my own version of this.
A crocheted hat pattern.
Simple gathered skirts.
Purses.

What would you like to see this year on my blog?

Soon....

Our computer is broke. And cannot be fixed. So we only have Dad's laptop to post on. Which is very difficult, and limits picture usage. What fun is a craft blog without pictures?
Mom ordered a new computer, (a Mac) and it will arrive in a week or so. Until then, I probably won't be posting much.

Can't wait to get back and post lots of pictures!

A New Year for Crafting

One of my favorite wrap skirts.

This time of year makes me want to make things. I haven't been posting much, because I've been so bust working on the present I gave my fiance for Christmas. (pictures coming soon.)
I especially want to do some sewing. I haven't done that for quite awhile. But I'll work on some projects, and I have some great ideas for posts, so keep checking back!

I hope that everyone had a nice Christmas and a good New Year's.

For Everly

Everly asked how I make the hearts by my signature every time I post. You can make these using the number pad on your keyboard. (every time I use a laptop to post, I can't make the hearts.)
Everyone has a different keyboard. On mine, I simply hold down "alt" and then press the number 3 on my number pad. However on other computers, you will have to hold down a different number. So, always hold down, "alt" and then press a number, and this will give you a little icon. You can press just one number, or you can use combinations of numbers to get your icon. A few icons that I can get are:
♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ ◘ • ○ ☻ ☺ ↨ « ♂ ╝ ├ Ä ╚ ■ █ § ƒ ┤ ▓ ◙ ♪ ♫ ☼ ¢ ♀ ▒ │╣╖ö ╧ ▌ °ú å « ► ▲

Sometimes, different number combinations will give you punctuations marks, or letters. Just keep trying until you get cool designs. And if you can't figure anything out, you can always copy and paste off of my posts.

Don't know how to copy and paste?First, highlight the text that you want to copy. By holding down the "crl" button AND the letter c, at the SAME TIME over the highlighted text, you are copying. To paste, hold down "crl" and the letter v, and it will paste your highlighted text.

I hope this helps, Everly! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Headers, just for you

A while back, I designed these graphics. But I have no need for them. So they are yours if you want them!
You can add your name to them easily enough with Paint or Photoshop.

Enjoy!
