Crocheted Purses

I finally am posting! Here are photos of the purses I crocheted. I don't really know how to explain it how to do it, because I didn't use instructions. However, there are instructions for the flower on the orange purse. I can post instructions on how to make the flower if you would like. You don't have to follow a pattern for the purses though. That is what is so fun about it is that you can be creative with it. Enjoy the photos. Maybe it will inspire you to make your own. Half double crochet for both the blue and yellow purses. Single crochet for the orange purse. I hand sewed frabic for lining in this purse. It really didn't turn out so well.... But I am keeping it for myself anyhow.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have about making them. I'll try to answer them best I can. Happy Purse Making!

Hey! I'm Julie's sister, and Katlen's friend. I LOVE the purses you made! About how long does it take for you to make one? I love to crochet, but I don't know how to knit. I love your blog!!!!

Kate,Thanks! No. They really aren't that hard to crochet. It's pretty much just like crocheting anything else except that you are going in a circle. You increase stiches until you get it the size you want for the base and then start crocheting regurarly around the whole circle.

Hey Olivia,
Thanks! Let's see...It doesn't take all that long. The blue and green one too longer because I sewed fabric inside it. But the yellow one, I made on vacation. Ummm...It's really hard to say because I just work on it while I am waiting or while I am in the car, so I wouldn't know exactly how long it takes. Sorry. It doesn't take all that long once you get the hang of it~! ~

Thanks for your comments everyone! Have a great day! :)
