My Favorite Craft Books

Sew What Skirts by Francesca Denhartog
This book shows you how to make skirts without buying patterns. Very handy! The directions are wonderful, and the skirts are adorable!

Mary Jane's Stitching Room by Mary Jane Butters

I adore this book. It covers everything- embroidery, quilting, crocheting, tatting...a perfect book to have! The step by step pictures are wonderful because they show you exactly how to do things.

This book is so whimsical. I love the projects inside so much...they don't need to be limited to Christmas only. Many projects are being made for my bedroom...

Klutz Crochet by Anne Johnson

This is a great book for beginners at crochet. It has lots of cute projects, and shows (very clearly) how to do all of the stitches.

Hooked Hats by Margaret Hubert
I have this book checked out of the library right now. Most of the hats inside are adorable. As of yet, I have only made one- I had to tweak the pattern a bit to get it to look right. But I loved that basis that it gave me- it was easy to alter. I'll definitely try more from this book!

What are your favorite craft books?

Great! I really need some new ones! I like The Chics With Sticks. I don't have any others. That one is WAY not beginner, though.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look for it next time I'm at the library. =)
