old letters. It was so clever!

I am making a patchwork quilt for my new house using paper piecing. I have no set patter, I am just making it up as I go along using a bag full of pieces given to me when a family friend died. I have been working on it off and on for years, but having just moved into a new house I am hoping to finish it this summer. I use old Christmas cards to back my pieces, which makes them strong enough to use over and over again. I love the bright cheerfulness of it all!
